Ordering Prescriptions
You can order your repeat prescriptions through the NHS App, by emailing your GP surgery, or by leaving a voicemail on 01675 466014
We strongly recommend requesting your repeat medication at least 5 working days before you run out.
If you have less than 2 days’ supply, please contact your surgery directly and request an urgent prescription to be sent to us.
Prescription Locker
Coleshill Pharmacy offers a 24-hour prescription locker, allowing you to collect your repeat prescriptions at a time that’s convenient for you.
For full details, please visit our Prescription Locker page.
Delivery Service
We provide a prescription delivery service when required.
Please note: this is a chargeable service, as it is not funded by the NHS.
Other Important Information
We can request your prescription, but we do not control whether your GP issues it.
If an item you requested is missing from your prescription, please contact your surgery.
Common reasons for this include:
Your doctor may need to review you before issuing the medication.
The request may have been refused if ordered too early.
The surgery may have printed the prescription instead of sending it electronically and not informed us.
While we do our best to prepare your medication within the advised timeframe, we rely on your GP surgery issuing the prescription.
Therefore, we cannot guarantee when your medication will be ready.
Repeat Dispensing (Batch Prescriptions)
We dispense repeat dispensing (Batch) prescriptions issued by your doctor.
This system does not require contacting your GP each time you need your medication.
However, as this NHS service is still developing, we currently do not recommend it.
Ordering your prescriptions as needed remains the most reliable method.
