There are times when some women may want to delay their period. For example, their period may be at a time that is not convenient for them. In this case, they can be prescribed medication that will stop or delay their period.

Treatment

Norethisterone 5mg Tablets

Norethisterone is a synthetic form of the hormone progesterone. During a normal menstrual cycle, progesterone levels fall, triggering the start of a period. Norethisterone works by maintaining progesterone levels, which helps delay the onset of your period.

The medication is usually started 3 days before the expected start of your period and can postpone menstruation until up to 3 days after the treatment is stopped.

Age Requirement
The minimum age for this service is 16 years. Unfortunately, we are unable to examine or treat younger children.

Cancellations & Missed Appointments
Any cancellation or rescheduling within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a charge of 20% of the total service cost. Missed appointments will be non-refundable.
